Restaurants set for closure will stay open through April 5.

Bahama Breeze will soon close for good.

Darden Restaurants announced Tuesday that among the chain’s 28 locations, 14 will shutter and the rest will be converted into other Darden brands. The company is not yet revealing which brands these Bahama Breeze restaurants will be converted to.

Darden said the action won’t have a material impact on its financial results.

The news comes after the restaurant group said in June 2025 it was exploring strategic alternatives for Bahama Breeze. Leading up to this, the chain had already closed 15 restaurants in May 2025. At the time, Darden listed two options—sell the concept or conversion. The company went with the latter.

The 14 units scheduled for closure will operate through April 5. The other restaurants will be converted over the next 12 to 18 months.
