Family-friendly wing spot Jefferson’s is bringing back its “Coach of the Year” program once more, launched in celebration of National Coaches Day on Oct. 6. Now in its fourth year, the program has, in the last few years, honored dozens of coaches across all five states where Jefferson’s has locations: Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia, resulting in an outpouring of support for the many beloved local coaches in Jefferson’s communities.
The Jefferson’s Coach of the Year program celebrates coaches from any sport who exemplify compassionate leadership, community spirit, and dedication to their players. Coaches can be nominated by athletes, parents and guardians, school officials, neighbors, or anyone who has witnessed their impact.
This year, the program will also launch at several new Jefferson’s locations that opened their doors in the last year, including restaurants in Bellevue, Tenn., Hartselle, Ala., and Weiss Lake, Ala., giving even more communities an opportunity to recognize a coach who goes above and beyond.
How It Works:
- The nomination period is open now and will close at 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 18. Coaches of any sport, working with athletes of all ages, are eligible for nomination.
- Winners from each location will receive a $500 Jefferson’s gift card and their names added to the “Jefferson’s Coach of the Year” plaque displayed prominently at their respective restaurant.

As Jefferson’s continues to grow, it’s important that we continue building relationships with the people and organizations that make each of our communities special.”

If you know of a life-changing coach in a Jefferson’s community, you can submit a nomination through the official Jefferson’s website, active now through 11:59 p.m. CST on Oct. 18. Winners will be announced on Nov. 16.
