Open on Thanksgiving for the first time, Le Colonial, the acclaimed French-Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of downtown Delray Beach, invites guests to rethink the traditional holiday feast with its Hanoi Roasted Thanksgiving Duck, a distinctive culinary celebration showcasing the rich flavors and traditions of Vietnamese cuisine. Taking center stage is a beautifully roasted, tea-cured Hudson Valley duck, infused with aromatic spices and presented alongside an array of thoughtfully prepared accompaniments designed for sharing. Offered as part of a special three-course prix-fixe menu for $105 per person on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, the experience brings a fresh perspective to holiday dining and a new tradition to the restaurant.

First course begins with a choice of appetizer: Vietnamese Wagyu Beef Sausage in Betel Leaf, (Chả Bò Wagyu Cuốn Lá Lốt), served with coconut-miso dipping sauce and house pickles, or Duck Dumpling Soup (Súp Sủi Cảo Vịt), made with mushroom consommé, Napa cabbage, brown beech mushrooms, sesame, and bok choy.

The main event is Le Colonial’s Hanoi Roasted Thanksgiving Duck (Trải Nghiệm Vịt Quay Le Colonial), featuring roasted tea-cured Hudson Valley duck with Sichuan pepper, coriander, and thyme. Shareable sides include duck confit with roasted wood ear mushrooms, ginger, and tteok gnocchi, plus steamed bao, pickled radish, tamarind-ginger sauce, Chinese sausage–mushroom sticky rice, and Roasted Sweet Potatoes with fish sauce and soy caramel, toasted hazelnut, and lime leaf.

For the finale, Pastry Chef Marta Kantorowicz gives a familiar holiday flavor with a distinctly Le Colonial expression. Her dessert, the Spiced Amber, is a five-spice Pumpkin Cremeux that combines Salted Pecan Praline, Vietnamese Coffee Biscuit, and Maple Mirror Glaze.

The Thanksgiving prix fixe menu will be served in the main dining room alongside the restaurant’s dinner à la carte menu.

A children’s prix fixe menu will also be available for $55. The first course offers a choice of Pan-crisped Chicken Dumplings or Crispy Shrimp and Pork Rolls, followed by a second course featuring Lemongrass-roasted Chicken, Honey-miso Roasted Salmon, Garlic Noodles with Shrimp, or Chicken Fried Rice. For dessert, children can enjoy either Vanilla Crème Brûlée or an Ice Cream Sundae.

For those celebrating at home, the Thanksgiving experience will be available for delivery or pickup through DoorDash and Uber Eats from noon to 7:30 p.m. However, Le Colonial Delray Beach’s Thanksgiving hours are 12 to 8 p.m.
