Brunchaholics, a Metro Philly-based brunch spot that was quickly named by Eater Philly as one of the 15 essential brunch spots in Philly, has now rebranded as Sunrise SociaL. Sunrise SociaL will now serve as the new destination for breakfast, brunch, and lunch where bold flavors meet unforgettable vibes.

Guests will now be able to visit their Philadelphia/Fishtown and Cherry Hill locations to enjoy Southern-inspired comfort with a modern twist—from their SociaL signature honey butter biscuit served with egg, cheese and your choice of sausage (beef, pork, turkey), bacon, or fried chicken and Steak It Easy (ribeye steak cooked in herb butter topped with your choice of egg and served with breakfast potatoes).

At Sunrise SociaL, guests will get to indulge in delectable food items such as: Cracked Fried Lobster, Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, Mixed Berry French Toast, Apple Pie Pancake Stack, Red Velvet Waffles, Mac & Cheese, the Morning Glory Burger (ground beef patty, bacon, sunny side egg, lettuce, tomato, red onion on a toasted seeded bun), and the S.G.G. (cornmeal fried fish, lump crab, and shrimp served over a bed of cheese grits and spicy gumbo gravy). Guests will also get the chance to sip on specialty drinks such as: Berry Sangrias, Blueberry Mojitos, and Mangomosa Margaritas (champagne, orange juice, mango puree, and sour mix).

“With Sunrise SociaL, we are looking to have food lovers and brunch enthusiasts gather to indulge in unique flavors, creative dishes, and an atmosphere that exudes warmth and hospitality,” says Franchisor, Aaron Anderson, an established restauranteur in Philly’s thriving food scene.

“With the branding of our concept, we encourage local to make this a staple brunch spot or and encourage visitor eager to uncover this culinary gem,” he adds. These current Sunrise SociaL locations are franchised by Bhavesh Patel — as part of a multi-unit franchise deal. Patel comes from a franchising background, which includes operating Dunkin’, Dairy Queen and Teriyaki Madness.

In addition to the new Sunrise SociaL, Anderson will be creating a fast-casual style version, Sunrise Social Express. This will be former Boston Market at 301 S Main Rd in Vineland – and will have limited indoor dining and a drive-through.

“With Express, we are looking to modernized version of Waffle House” he says. “Some of our lunch items will consists of our signature chicken tenders and signature smash burgers.”

Anderson is no stranger to the Philly food scene, as he previously owned for four Original Hot Dog Factory restaurants (including one in Suburu Park) that had a menu consisting of a wide range of selections including: specialty hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, french fries, onion rings, milkshakes, and related foods and beverages.

Anderson also acquired two Rita’s Italian Ice franchises in 2021-2022 and also founded Chef Rube Kitchen (a ghost kitchen concept that had multiple location, including one in Philly’s soccer stadium).

Most of these were opened during the height of the pandemic, where Anderson made feeding and supporting front line workers a focus! Anderson has more than six years of experience in franchise operations, sales and development with multiple restaurant service brands.

Sunrise SociaL (Fishtown) is located at 2499 Aramingo Ave in Philadelphia, PA 19125. And will open from Monday to Sunday from 9am – 4pm EST.  Sunrise SociaL (Cherry Hill) is located at 1200 Haddonfield Road from Monday to Sunday from 8am – 4pm EST.
