FSR magazine is accepting nominations for Rising Stars to feature in the March 2017 issue, our annual issue dedicated to up-and-coming professionals from all aspects of full-service restaurant operations.
Will you please take a moment to tell us about a colleague, friend, or someone you admire who is deserving of this recognition? It can be a chef, an operator, a server, a bartender—all roles within full-service restaurant operations are worthy contenders.
Follow this link and complete the fields, and please be sure to include the nominee’s name, position, a brief description for why the person should be considered, and your contact information. We're taking nominations through November 15.
We also ask for you to share the nominee's age, as of March 1, 2017, and that person's contact information—if you know those details.
Finally: How do we define a Rising Star? For starters, the person needs to be working in a full-service restaurant, and—while most of the stars will likely be under 40—we don't want to lock ourselves into an age restriction. If you know a Rising Star who's 60, 70, even 100, and has recently embarked on a stellar path in the world of full-service restaurants, please nominate them!
