Ruth's Chris Steak House will host a "Top Rated Wines of the World Dinner" on October 18 at 97 locations across the nation. Top-rated wines and spirits from around the globe that represent the best of their regions will be paired with courses inspired by each country.

"The fifth dinner in our 50th Anniversary National Wine Dinner Series is a celebration of a generational commitment to excellence. The evening will pair some of the world's top rated wines and spirits with a globally inspired five-course meal,” says Mike O'Donnell, chairman, president, and chief executive officer of Ruth's Hospitality Group, Inc.

The featured "Top Rated Wines of the World Dinner" menu includes:

First Course: Aleppo Chili Seared Ahi Tuna with pickled cucumber salad paired with Yealands Estate Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc—90 Points, Wine Advocate, January 2015.

Second Course: Roasted Wild Mushrooms with creamy Blue Cheese polenta paired with Au Contraire Pinot Noir—91 Points, Wine Enthusiast, and Editor's Choice, December 2014.

Third Course: Slow Roasted Pork Carnitas with fresh avocado and South American corn cake paired with Santa Rita Pehuen Carmenere—92 Points, International Wine Cellar, May 2012.

Fourth Course: Filet Mignon, served sizzling with peppercorn butter paired with Santa Rita Medalla Real Cabernet Sauvignon—91 Points, James Suckling, August 2014. Accompaniments include: Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Mac and Cheese with Mild Green Chiles.

Fifth Course: Irish Whiskey Cake with espresso whipped cream and butter pecan ice cream paired with The Irishman Single Malt Irish Whiskey Manhattan—93 points and Highly Recommended, 2014 Ultimate Spirits Challenge.
