Carmello’s of Old Town Manassas, Virginia, recently earned Wine Spectator magazine’s 2015 Award of Excellence for the sixth consecutive year. The restaurant is noted for its vast Portuguese wine selections.

Carmello’s offers more than 100 Portuguese wines from Portuguese regions such as Alentejo, Douro, Doa, Estremadura, and Vinho Verde, and presents one of the largest Portuguese wine lists in the United States.

“We are always looking to ways to improve and enhance our wine selection,” says Alice Pires, owner of Carmello’s and Monza of Old Town Manassas, Virginia. “We’re honored to be selected by Wine Spectator Magazine.”
