Ziosk, maker of an ordering, entertainment, and pay-at-the table tablet, announced its partnership with Red Robin Gourmet Burgers to bring Ziosk tabletop tablets to Red Robin restaurant locations across the United States.

The rollout is expected to be implemented in late 2015.

The Ziosk is a 7-inch tablet that is designed to enhance the guest experience by giving Red Robin guests the ability to pay when they're ready, order refills, play interactive games, enroll in the Red Robin Royalty loyalty program, and redeem rewards. The Ziosk tablet also allows guests to provide real-time feedback on their experience at the end of the meal.

"[Red Robin is] an ideal partner to offer [its] guests the convenience the Ziosk provides," says Austen Mulinder, CEO of Ziosk. "We are very proud to work closely with Red Robin to bring the added convenience and enjoyment the Ziosk offers directly to their guests' tables."

"The introduction of Ziosk's tabletop tablets is among the many ways we're differentiating and elevating the Red Robin dining experience," says Steve Carley, Red Robin chief executive officer. "By adding even more ways for our guests to enhance and customize their Red Robin experience, we know they'll leave even more delighted and visit us again soon."

Ziosk has been working with three Red Robin franchisees for as long as two years, demonstrating the positive impact its tablets can have on the guest experience. Following a test phase in corporate stores, Ziosk was found to be the best solution for Red Robin, based on the ease of use of the tablet, including the ability for guests to pay directly at the table and print a receipt from the tablet if desired.
