TGI Fridays announced a national partnership with ultra-premium Casamigos Tequila, an award-winning, small batch tequila created and owned by actor George Clooney, Rande Gerber, founder of Gerber Spirits, and Discovery Land Company CEO and founder Mike Meldman. 

Casamigos will now be available in participating U.S. Fridays restaurants and featured in two new drinks this spring and summer, including the Ultimate Casamigos Strawberry Margarita, which launched on Cinco de Mayo.

The tequila and signature drinks are the centerpieces of the brands' Cinco de Mayo promotion, which also includes the launch of six new wing flavors, including Ghost Pepper, and two new appetizers, Bacon-wrapped Stuffed Jalapenos and Jack Sliders.

Casamigos, which loosely translates to "house of friends," was created by Clooney, Gerber, and Meldman as a limited-batch tequila for their personal consumption, prior to the trio producing and releasing it nationally. Fridays is the newest and largest restaurant and bar brand to feature Casamigos.
