Once again adding to their growing portfolio of successful New York City venues, including the newly debuted The Raven, 205 Club, Malt n Mash, Sons of Essex and Petaluma, hospitality industry leaders The Line Group are proud to announce their newest venture, “Leave Rochelle Out Of It”, now open in New York’s Lower East Side. Conceived by creative directors Brett David and Stephen Yorsz (who together bring not only 25 years of mutual nightlife and event experience, but also a lifetime of friendship) are the masterminds behind this current version of the classic old fashioned American saloon, aptly named after Rochelle, a mutual paramour of both gents, who far more then they deserves her name in lights.

Located in the Lower East Side, Leave Rochelle Out Of It (cordially known as  Rochelle’s) aims to cater to a fun and diverse crowd ranging from the kids on the block, your average Joe to your not-so-average cocktail geek, as well as hedge fund hippies and the baby giraffes that love them. A classic Whiskey Bar, Rochelle’s will offer a selection of over 70 brands of American whiskey; many of which were popular with those who can remember “I LIKE IKE” on their pins and are now making a comeback among seasoned, educated and intelligent consumers. The cocktail menu doesn’t take itself too seriously; rather, it features creative concoctions such as the Old Pal; a blend of Rittenhouse Rye, Campari and Dry Vermouth. The Barrel-Aged Breukelen Cocktail, prepared with 86-proof Old Forrester and only available in limited quantities. A third, the non-Whiskey based Raj-Mahal, is their take on the Lower Middle East Side; prepared with Bombay Sapphire East Gin and Bonded Apple Jack Brandy.

Additionally, Rochelle’s will offer individual “barrel service” (the venue’s answer to traditional bottle service) – one-liter mini-barrels of Old Forrester whiskey Breukelen cocktails, aged to perfection in house.

For those looking for something to soak up the whiskey, Rochelle’s will feature a food menu created by chef Julia Gersuk, offering New American Fare from 5 p.m. until 1 a.m. daily. This includes small bites including Whiskey Wings, Chili Salt Pork Cracklings, Duck Confit Sliders, Rosemary & Olive Spiked Hummus, a variety of Charcuterie Platters with freshly sliced meats from Antinori Farms, and inventive burgers and sandwiches including The DGPBJ; a Foie Gras, Chunky Peanut Butter, Raspberry Jam and Pancetta sandwich, served with cracklings.

This old-time American saloon features décor by Bluarch Architecture, with styling additions by Brett David, and original prints by Dustin Pittman, all of which are classic rock shots—including Iggy Pop from 1969, Mick Jagger and David Bowie from 1971, and artistic shots from Coney Island in the early to mid-1980. Cheeky quotes about dating in the New York nightlife scene, all by Brett David, also adorn the walls of Rochelle’s.

With an emphasis on delicious cocktails, mouth-watering food and superb customer service in an inviting atmosphere, The Line Group’s “Leave Rochelle Out Of It” aims to please a wide range of tastes by serving up quality drinks and small plates from a couple guys that share more in common than just the bar’s namesake. This 1,300 square foot space is comfortable, sexy, and inviting. With a late night food menu and wide range of whiskey cocktails available, Rochelle’s will quickly become one of New York City’s most sought-after nightlife destinations.
