The American Culinary Federation (ACF) a professional member organization for chefs and foodservice professionals in North America, with more than 20,000 members spanning 200 chapters nationwide.

ACF’s events series is four regional conferences and a national convention that provide educational opportunities and highlights food trends for attendees through hands-on sessions, culinary demonstrations, and seminars presented by chefs, culinary trend experts, and foodservice industry professionals.

The 2014 events series will be hosted in cities known for their culinary history or up-and-coming food scene.

ACF Western Regional Conference will take place March 2–5, at Oakland Marriott City Center, Oakland, California. Known for its diverse architecture and seaport, Oakland’s culinary scene has begun to receive numerous accolades from national press and has a growing local food culture. ACF San Francisco Chapter will host the conference.

ACF Central Regional Conference will take place March 16–19, at Renaissance St. Louis Grand Hotel, St. Louis. The city will be celebrating its 250th anniversary in 2014, and over the past few years, has begun a culinary renaissance with St. Louis chefs garnering national attention. Chefs de Cuisine Association of St. Louis Inc. will host the conference.

ACF Northeast Regional Conference will take place April 11–14, at The Crowne Plaza Hotel at the Crossings, Warwick, Rhode Island, (10 minutes from downtown Providence, R.I.). Named one of the top foodie cities in the country by CNBC, Providence has a rich culinary history and is home to the oldest French restaurant in the United States. ACF Rhode Island Chapter will host the conference.

ACF Southeast Regional Conference will take place April 26–29 at Embassy Suites North Charleston—Airport/Hotel & Convention, Charleston, South Carolina. Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Award named Charleston the No.1 U.S. city for three consecutive years. ACF Greater Charleston South Carolina Chapter will host the conference.

ACF National Convention will take place July 25–29 at Kansas City Marriott Downtown, Kansas City, Missouri. The city, which claims to have the best barbecue beef in the Midwest, was named America’s next great culinary destination by Saveur Top Food Trends for 2012. ACF Greater Kansas City Chefs Association will host the national convention.
