SideDoor, a member of the Lawry’s family of restaurants and the adjacent sister restaurant to Five Crowns in Corona del Mar, California, is expanding its rustic dining area to the restaurant’s outdoor greenhouse patio, which features captivating lighting, cozy fire pits, and a charming English garden where guests can enjoy great food, music, and ambiance.

The patio will be open six days per week—Sunday through Friday for nightly seating, on Sunday for SideDoor’s acclaimed “Sunday Sessions” from 11:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M., and can be booked for special private parties.

In the lush patio, guests will enjoy dining and social gatherings outside while savoring an inventive, seasonal, and delicious menu that changes weekly. The menu features small plates portioned for sharing, unique artisanal cheese and charcuterie plates, house-made desserts, and an extensive craft beer program. Patio guests also will have access to a wide range of tantalizing and innovative cocktails, made with fresh herbs literally grown table-side in the garden, as well as beverages featuring unique ice shapes, including spheres and special cubes.

Brunch-goers at the in-demand “Sunday Sessions” will be able to savor their delicious and creative dishes on the outdoor patio while enjoying the sounds of resident DJ jam band StereoSystem Collective, as well as special guest painters, photographers, slam poets, and more. StereoSystem Collective also will perform in the patio on Thursday nights.

“Expanding to our gorgeous outdoor patio and garden will be a treat for our guests,” notes Jim Colombo, SideDoor’s general manager. “This outdoor environment, from regular weekdays to Sunday Sessions, is all about relaxing, enjoying time with friends and family, and taking in an uber-cool, super hip, yet accessible setting. There’s no better way to enjoy a meal or a drink.”

Five Crowns and SideDoor are members of the Lawry’s family of restaurants, which includes Lawry’s The Prime Rib, with locations in Beverly Hills, Chicago, Dallas, Las Vegas, Osaka, Tokyo, Singapore, Taipei, and Hong Kong, as well as Tam O’Shanter in Los Angeles.
