Gallery Restaurant, Charlotte’s only Forbes Four-Star recognized restaurant, has completed an impressive redesign. Exuding a “quiet elegance,” Gallery Restaurant’s new space creates a sense of privacy complemented by enhanced ambience. Gallery Restaurant, in conjunction with CU-Interiors & pb Interior Design, worked with multiple local fabricators to achieve a timeless look.

The restaurant incorporates artistic details, gorgeous furniture, tasteful architectural features, and antique-inspired materials set to a palette of earth tones. Signature elements of the redesign include handmade marble Gallery signage, a statement onyx table, a mirrored glass hostess stand, textured leaded glass windows, and an ornate frieze. Additionally, Gallery Restaurant features multiple seating options, including stylish booths and a chef’s table.

“We wanted Gallery Restaurant to feel like its own destination,” says Peter Grills, general manager at The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge, at which the restaurant is located. “The redesign conveys the perfect atmosphere to support our inventive menu and discreet while attentive service style.”

Gallery’s upscale decor continues into the private dining room with a lighter color scheme, enriched by texture and softer materials. The room offers flexible seating and provides an ideal backdrop for a special dining experience.

An exclusive display from Shain Gallery, one of the finest contemporary art providers in Charlotte, establishes a gallery feel for the restaurant. Shain Gallery’s captivating display highlights a variety of styles, materials, and subject matter while authenticating a true collection of genuine art. Paintings include several references to Charlotte, and the exhibit features nationally renowned and local artists. The art is available for purchase and will rotate regularly.
