Seasonal Menu Arrives at California Pizza Kitchen

California Pizza Kitchen, the authority on California-style pizza and industry leader in creative dining, today announced the launch of its seasonal menu lineup, featuring items in a full range of categories. Known for placing innovative twists on classic culinary traditions, California Pizza Kitchen's limited-time offerings, available May through July, celebrate the freshest fruits, vegetables, and flavors of spring and summer. 

"It's been a long, cold winter for many, and we are happy to welcome the warmer weather by offering a taste of the season's freshest ingredients throughout our menu," says Brian Sullivan, SVP of culinary development for California Pizza Kitchen. "Tender, leafy greens are a key component to many of our dishes, and we're also giving fresh strawberries special emphasis this season, from the California Fields Salad to the Strawberry Shortcake and, of course, our unique beverages." 

The California Fields Salad is made with fresh watermelon, strawberries, field greens, and baby kale, with house-made Champagne vinaigrette, feta, and California pistachios. The celebration of greens continues with the limited-time return of our classic Tricoloré Salad Pizza, made with a caramelized Parmesan pizza crust topped with field greens, tomatoes, and shaved Parmesan, tossed in freshly made Dijon balsamic vinaigrette. For dessert, guests can enjoy the Strawberry Shortcake, made with fresh shortcake biscuit and piled high with seasonal strawberries, whipped cream, and house-made candied lemon zest.

The beverage menu also has spring fever, with new additions including the 90-calorie Fresh Strawberry Mango Cooler, made with fresh strawberries hand-shaken with Fresca and Monin South Seas, featuring natural flavors of mango, guava, and ginger; the Strawberry Lime Margarita, made with Casamigos Tequila Blanco, fresh strawberries, perfect purée strawberry, fresh agave sour, and lime; the Strawberry Rhubarb Martini, made with Art in the Age Rhubarb Tea liqueur, fresh strawberries, Monin Organic Agave Nectar, fresh lemon, and orange twist. 

New permanent additions to the menu include the Hand-Shaken Agave Mojito, with BACARDI Superior Rum, fresh agave sour, fresh mint, lime, and organic Hawaiian sugar cane; and the Fresh Agave Lime Margarita, with Milagro Silver tequila, fresh agave sour, and fresh lime.
