The first Joe’s Crab Shack in Ocean County will open August 13 in the Brick Plaza shopping center, and the first 100 guests will win free crab for a year. Everyone who visits on opening day can also enter to win free crab for life.

“We’ve been eagerly awaiting our opening in Brick so we can share a little bit of the Gulf Coast with the whole community,” said Joe’s Crab Shack’s general manager Steve Leibowitz. “We invite our new neighbors to come help us celebrate the grand opening with great giveaways, and help us raise money for No Kid Hungry.”

Guests can participate in Joe’s fundraiser for No Kid Hungry by purchasing coupons for free kid’s meals, appetizers, and entrées in exchange for charitable donations to the organization. For every $1 donation, guests receive a free kid’s meal; with a $5 donation, a free appetizer; and with a $10 donation, a free snow or queen crab bucket.

The Joe’s Crab Shack “100% Shore” menu offers Southern flavors and spices that add a delicious, unexpected twist to fresh seafood from the highest quality sources. Menu standards include Steampots, seafood entrées and mouth-watering crab dishes featuring Dungeness, snow crab, and king crab. The Brick location will also feature new summer menu items including the Corona Beach Bake and Coastal Wave Steampot, featuring a wide range of delicious, fresh seafood options and finished with a Corona chile-lime bath.

The new Joe’s Crab Shack can accommodate 293 guests and will employ 140 team members from the local area.
