BJ's Restaurants, Inc. announced the opening of its two newest restaurants in Corpus Christi, Texas, on Monday, October 7, 2013, and in Tallahassee, Florida, on Wednesday, October 9, 2013.
The new Corpus Christi restaurant is located on S. Padre Island Drive and Staples Road as the latest addition to Moore Plaza. The free standing restaurant is approximately 7,500 square feet and contains seating for approximately 265 guests.
The new Tallahassee restaurant is located at the intersection of Apalachee Parkway and Blairstone Road as the latest addition to the Shoppes on the Parkway. The freestanding restaurant is approximately 8,500 square feet and contains seating for approximately 280 guests.
"We are very excited to open in Corpus Christi, Texas, and Tallahassee, Florida," says Greg Trojan, President and CEO. "Our new Corpus Christi location is our 29th restaurant in Texas where we have enjoyed some of our largest comparable sales increases over the years. Our Tallahassee location is our 14th restaurant in Florida which is an area that we continue to target for more BJ's restaurants over the next several years. To date we have opened 13 new restaurants, including the relocation
of our existing small-format BJ's Pizza & Grill restaurant in Eugene, Oregon, and we plan on opening 4 more restaurants before the end of November."
