NOHSC Restaurant Group, the creators of Legacy Kitchen, announced their newest location in New Orleans is set to open in early Spring 2015.

Legacy Kitchen Warehouse District will bring refined American fare and classic, crafted cocktails to the Warehouse District neighborhood at the corner of Tchoupitoulas and Girod Streets.

After enjoying the success of the Metairie location for almost two years, Paul McGoey, managing partner of Legacy Kitchen, and his partners decided to take this concept to the Warehouse District, but with a twist.

“This new restaurant is the coolest concept we have put together so far,” McGoey says.  “From the hand-crafted, classic cocktails to even having a live DJ spinning music by classic American artists in the restaurant, it’s definitely a place to have a good time and enjoy great food and music.”

The menu will offer inventive takes on classic American dishes such as fried chicken and waffles with pepper jelly maple syrup and the overstuffed East Hampton lobster roll served with homemade kettle chips and kale slaw.

Craft bartenders will expertly prepare classic cocktails like the perfect old fashioned and the porch swing, a mix of peach vodka and slow-brewed southern sweet tea. Guests looking to grab a quick snack can choose from a variety of bar bites including buffalo oysters and duck grilled cheese.

New Orleans Coffee & Beignet Co. will be coming to a space next door, offering both traditional and chocolate beignets along with a wide variety of coffees, breakfast items, and sweet treats.

Legacy Kitchen Warehouse District will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week. The bar will remain open seven days a week until midnight.
