Paul Martin’s American Grill announced the hire of Brad Kaemmer as chief executive officer at the Paul Martin’s American Grill restaurant group. With more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Kaemmer’s extensive experience leading restaurant groups such as Tijuana Flats, Boca Restaurant Group, and P.F. Chang’s, as well his passion for growth, company culture, and culinary excellence, provides a welcome addition to the Paul Martin’s American Grill team.

Founded in 2007 by Brian Bennett and Paul Fleming, the restaurant concept focuses on serving dishes made from scratch with the highest quality ingredients, prepared simply and all offered at accessible prices. With locations in Arizona, Texas, and throughout California, a growing brand, Paul Martin’s American Grill most recently opened its 10th restaurant in Pasadena, California, in January 2016.

Requiring a leader to focus on continued expansion, while maintaining the commitment to all-natural and sustainable food, never losing sight of practices at the brand’s heritage, Kaemmer’s professional experience provides an ideal fit for the role. Most notably, Kaemmer previously oversaw the aggressive growth of fast casual chain Tijuana Flats, where he devised a development strategy to create 100 new stores in just over five years. As regional vice president at P.F. Chang’s he helped the brand expand to new markets and opened dozens of new locations in the Midwest, Northeast, and Mid-Atlantic regions, all while embracing the core essence of each company.

In his role as chief executive officer at Paul Martin’s American Grill, Kaemmer will focus on overseeing strategic operating plans to grow sales as well as new business development, in addition to overseeing the management and direction of the company.

“We are thrilled to hire Brad Kaemmer as chief executive officer at Paul Martin’s American Grill. As we continue to develop, create and adhere to our goals and targets for the future, we are assured with his experience and attitude, he’s the right fit for the role. We feel confident he will help us share our scratch made message and maintain the integrity of our ‘Seasonal & Delicious’ philosophy,” says co-founder Paul Fleming.
