Maggiano’s Little Italy has announced its new collaboration with virtual experience partner, Threshold 360, to highlight its banquet spaces throughout 48 of its 50 locations. The family-friendly Italian-American brand has established itself as a destination for family-style dining and is using the tools provided by Threshold 360’s virtual tour platform to revolutionize the banquet hall rental processes and provide a seamless booking experience for customers.
Alongside the new virtual tour technology being implemented, the brand has recently remodeled 13 of its restaurants. With updates focused on bringing a lighter, more elevated ambiance to the private dining rooms, Threshold 360’s software will highlight the new improvements as renovations continue across more Maggiano’s locations.
Threshold 360’s cutting-edge technology will assist in streamlining the booking experience across the board for Maggiano’s large group dining spaces. With detailed first-person perspectives of the rooms in which guests will be dining, users will be able to take an online look at the size, decor and amenities of the event space before ever stepping foot outside of their front door. Each location’s website landing page will house an individual video of the event dining areas within the building’s floor plan for a comprehensive view of each restaurant.
“Working alongside Threshold 360 has given Maggiano’s a real opportunity to further elevate something the brand already does so well, which is creating a memorable group dining experience,” says Larry Konecny, chief concept officer and vice president of Maggiano’s Little Italy. “Giving guests a high-quality virtual inside look at our private group dining areas allows for an individualized booking procedure at each Maggiano’s location. This project has been a strategic step in Maggiano’s evolution, and we are thankful to have a partner like Threshold 360 alongside us.”
Each immersive virtual tour provides an interactive look within Maggiano’s event spaces that have been used for any number of events from large family gatherings, corporate outings and even to rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions. Each special get-together is tailored to a group’s unique needs and provides an experience that can only be found at a Maggiano’s.
“It has been an honor to be selected as the exclusive virtual tour software provider of Maggiano’s Little Italy,” says Shane Whitlatch, CEO of Threshold 360. “It is our goal to provide detailed and comprehensive digital experiences of the spaces we capture at a price point and effort level that makes it an easy choice for our customers. This is a revolutionary step in the hospitality industry as more communicative and booking practices move toward the online realm.”
The new sales tool will be implemented into the banquet booking platform housed within Maggiano’s website. Guests will be able to utilize the virtual walkthroughs of the interiors before making an informed decision on which banquet option is best suited for their next gathering. Along with the banquet space, Maggiano’s provides comforting and delicious chef-curated event menus of its classic Italian dishes.
