The Jones Assembly announced the appointment of Nick Kellard as director of operations. In his new role, Nick will join Operating Partner Scott Marsh, in developing The Jones Assembly’s robust programming and executing behind-the-scenes details of the West Village concept.
Kellard joins The Jones Assembly most recently from The Charleston Place with additional experience from Twin Farms, a five-star country estate in Barnard, Vermont, and sister property of the acclaimed Blackberry Farms where Kellard also spent time building his resume. His experience spans food service, wine and spirits, hospitality management, and strategic finance and marketing. Kellard is currently studying with the Court of Master of Sommeliers (level 2) and previously participated in The Annual Epicurean Tour of Northern California where he held one of 14 coveted seats.
Kellard’s experience began during his upbringing in Denali, Alaska where he worked at a local lodge which introduced him to the art of hospitality and tourism. After enrolling the United States Navy, Kellard completed two tours in Dubai expanding his understanding of the industry from a global perspective. Upon his return, he studied hospitality management at Auburn University and further served in positions behind the bar, working front desks, and in the kitchen.
“We are thrilled to welcome Nick to the team and look forward to utilizing his years of experience to help further establish The Jones Assembly as an OKC institution,” says Scott Marsh, Operating Partner of The Jones Assembly. “It’s rare to find someone with such vast experience and we feel fortunate to have him representing The Jones.”
