Saffron Restaurants, renowned for its welcoming ambiance and authentic Indian cuisine, introduced Reena Miglani as its Chief of Growth and Innovation. As someone who has spent two decades in the culinary industry, Miglani brings a wealth of experience to the role.
 
Miglani will play a pivotal role in overseeing internal communications and exploring innovative culinary avenues for Saffron’s locations in both Burlingame and San Carlos. Her commitment to ingenuity and exploring new horizons harmonizes with the values of Saffron’s Owner and Executive Chef Ajay Walia, who also happens to be her husband.

The responsibilities of Miglani will encompass developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns, exploring new revenue streams, and optimizing operations, as well as leveraging technology to enhance the overall customer experience. Furthermore, she will play a significant role in menu development and the generation of new recipes. She will ensure that each new addition resonates with the restaurant’s ethos and commitment to serving Southern Indian sensibilities combined with select Northern Indian dishes. 
 
During her time at Saffron Restaurants, Miglani has already reimagined and enhanced both restaurants’ designs and refined overall aesthetics. With her fresh approach, she will continue to elevate the atmosphere of all forthcoming Saffron locations to new heights.
