Twin Peaks restaurants has expanded to Wichita, Kansas.

The new restaurant, which will have a mountain sports lodge theme, is open for dinner only but beginning May 23, Twin Peaks will expand its hours to include lunch.

“Wichita has an untapped market looking for a place [people] can go to enjoy really great food, ice cold draft beer and sports in a great atmosphere,” says developer Randy Rathbun.

Founded in 2005 in the Dallas suburb of Lewisville, Twin Peaks has 14 restaurants in four states and plans to open an additional five restaurants by the end of 2011.

Rathbun developed 117 Subway restaurants before becoming a Twin Peaks franchisee. Because of his experience as a developer for Subway in Kansas and as a 23-year resident of Wichita, he knew Twin Peaks would be an ideal fit for the area.

“Men love great food, cold beer, sports and the Twin Peaks Girls,” says Rathbun. “There is no doubt in my mind that this restaurant will be wildly popular in Wichita.”
