Tryst, an Arlington, Massachusetts, restaurant just outside Boston, is bringing its customers into the kitchen. Diners are invited to submit their favorite recipes and ideas for dishes—maybe something they ate while vacationing on the Amalfi Coast that they’d like to try again, or something their grandmother made.

Executive chef and owner Paul Turano will collect customers’ requests, then feature them on the last Tuesday of every month, when customers’ dishes will be the only offerings on the menu. The dishes featured on these “You’re on the Menu!” nights will include the back-story of each dish as well as the person who submitted it.

The first You’re on the Menu! night will be March 29.
