As the fast-paced, national growth of the fast-casual Asian segment continues to sizzle, Mama Fu’s Asian House is feeding the demand in North Dallas for freshly prepared Asian cuisine.  The introduction of Mama Fu's into North Dallas begins in Frisco, Texas. This will be the first of fourteen Mama Fu's locations slated to open in Dallas and Collin counties over the coming years.

Mama Fu’s specializes in freshly prepared Asian cuisine and offers a unique Flex Casual service model that includes a fast casual approach to lunch, with a transition to relaxed, full service at dinner.

Mama Fu’s Frisco is scheduled to open late October 2013 in the popular Sam Moon Shopping Center at 2429 Preston Road, at the Northwest corner of Hwy 121 and Preston Road adjacent to the Stonebriar Mall.  This is centrally located on the border towns of Allen, Plano, Carrollton, and The Colony with Legacy and Warren Park Office Complexes nearby. Spearheading the multi-unit series of openings is MFDC Partners, a group of seasoned entrepreneurs and restaurant industry veterans: Daniel Avery, Rose and Rob Colarossi and Tao ‘Echo’ Liu.

“Mama Fu’s is the only Asian-inspired concept in the marketplace that offers a contemporary flex-casual setting transitioning from quick counter service at lunch, to a full service experience at dinner.  Mama Fu’s in Frisco offers guests dine-in, delivery, take-out, catering, Free Meeting or Party Room complete with audio-visual and Free WiFi, and a beautiful patio,” says Rose Colarossi, co-owner of the new Mama Fu’s location and resident of Frisco.  “When we were looking to invest in a food concept, we kept a careful eye on what the top food industry leaders were looking at in terms of the next consumer trend. Asian food is definitely the winner as consumers are looking for healthy dining options that are both fresh and bold tasting. This is a great place for both the busy corporate employee or a family of four".

Mama Fu’s offers its guests convenience, and unique flavors with its high quality, made-to-order Asian-inspired food, including the MenuMasters award-winning Banh mi sandwich. With a contemporary and user-friendly menu that allows guests to navigate their options more easily, customers can choose between their protein of choice, including: chicken, beef, pork and shrimp, as well as vegetables, noodles, brown and white rice – all from a selection of Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Korean menu options.

Guests can also choose from vegan and gluten free menu options, order a steam bowl or salad, or have their protein steamed to reduce oils and starch. For a more exclusive look at menu options and perks, Mama Fu’s offers a popular rewards program to customers, known as the “Funatics Club,” which offers exclusive deals to club members and keeps guests coming back to enjoy the Mama Fu’s experience.

“It has been a tremendous year for us as we build on our brand’s success and continue to grow throughout Texas and the rest of the country,” says Randy Murphy, president and CEO of Mama Fu’s. “We are so excited to have our partners in North Texas opening their first location in Frisco. They’re a wonderful group with extensive experience in the industry.  We are confident they will receive as warm of a welcome in Frisco as we’ve seen in other foodie cities around the country.”
