Ivan Spiers’ much-anticipated sequel to his popular Mozambique restaurant is now open in Downtown Laguna Beach. Skyloft offers panoramic rooftop dining, two bars, live music, and coast-to-coast fare that Spiers calls “Authentic Americana.” Spiers embraced multi-venue dining with his first restaurant, Mozambique, which also offers multiple dining options, including several unique dining rooms, bars, and rooftop dining. Out of Mozambique’s success, Skyloft was conceived atop the historical Heisler building overlooking Main Beach.

Skyloft offers a robust menu of regional American dishes made from locally sourced ingredients, craft beers, coastal California wines and hand crafted cocktails. Guests can sample Spiers’ favorite American flavors including Midwest barbecue, Cajun classics like jambalaya, and west coast seafood.

Guests also have their choice of seating areas. The indoor dining room on the second floor offers quiet dining surrounded by touches of warm woods, red and grey tones, and large ocean-facing windows. Guests in the mood for a more exciting experience can convene at any of the two bars Skyloft has to offer. The front bar is a sleek, stylish space that mirrors the bustling beach, which is visible from every high-top table; here guests can indulge in handcrafted cocktails and follow their favorite sports on high definition TVs. The second bar is located upstairs and offers open air seating with knowledge bartenders pouring craft beers, cocktails and coastal wines. Located on the main level is a state-of-the-art music stage where live bands and musicians play nightly.

With Laguna Beach on display in every space of the restaurant, Skyloft displays its owner’s love for his local American home. Skyloft is located at 422 S. Coast Hwy, Laguna Beach, California, 92651.
