The Royale, Magnificent Burgers, an upscale burger concept developed by Apheleia Restaurant Group, chef/partner John Tesar, and Plan B Group, is officially open in Plano, Texas.
In addition to an array of creative and locally sourced beef burgers, Royale offers a variety of other burgers, including multiple seafood options as well as veggie and bison. In addition, Chef Tesar developed an elevated poutine program to complement fries, rings, tartars, and salads. To satisfy the sweet tooth, a craft milkshake station offers the classics along with more creative twists like salted caramel and banana brûlée.
“This is not your typical burger and fries joint,” says Chef Tesar. “I always incorporate flavors from around the world to give guests a culinary experience they won’t get anywhere else. People who know my burgers will be blown away with what Royale has to offer.”
The restaurant’s design boasts whimsical touches inspired by the vision of acclaimed director and filmmaker Wes Anderson. “Guests will feel transported the moment they walk through the doors,” says Richard Ellman, co-owner of Apheleia Restaurant Group. “We’ve paid very close attention to detail to create something that is so outside the box and offers an element of surprise to guests.”
Royale Magnificent Burgers is located at 3310 Dallas Parkway. Dinner is served from 4 to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 4 p.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday. Lunch service will follow in the coming weeks.
