Justin Amick and William Stallworth, founders and principals of Painted Hospitality, announced their new concept, The Painted Duck. The Painted Duck follows The Painted Pin, the first project from Amick and Stallworth, an upscale boutique bar, bowling and entertainment venue in Buckhead, Atlanta, which opened in June 2014.

The Painted Duck will be a “distinguished drinkery, duckpin bowling, and gaming parlour” located in the new Stockyards Atlanta development on the Westside at the intersection of 10th Street and Brady Avenue (976 Brady Avenue). The Painted Duck will include 18 full-service duckpin bowling lanes, indoor deck shuffleboard and horseshoe pits, Belgian feather bowling, two full-service private karaoke rooms, and other unique competitive group gaming options.

The cuisine is being slated as “backyard barfare” and will center on shareable small plates and wood-fired meats prepared on a custom grill. The beverage program will focus on signature and classic cocktails, artisanal wines by glass, local and craft beer, and an extensive list of bourbons and whiskeys.

Chef Thomas Collins (TROIS, Parish, The Painted Pin) will create the menu while mixologist Trip Sandifer (Restaurant Eugene, The Spence, The Painted Pin) will craft the cocktail program. Co-owner and advanced sommelier Amick will curate the wine and beer program and oversee day-to-day operations of The Painted Pin and The Painted Duck. Co-owner Stallworth will continue to focus on driving the company wide private events business. Westbridge Partners (White Provisions) is the visionary behind Stockyards Atlanta, a mixed-use development offering restaurant and retail options. This development will complete the transformation of this area, which includes the Brickworks and Midtown West, Star Provisions, White Provisions, The Goat Farm, and King Plow Arts Center.
