Eden opens its doors Friday night, bringing refined cooking, impeccable hospitality, and unwavering conviviality to the dining community. Set at 1748 W. Lake St. in the up-and-coming West Lake District in Chicago, Principal Jodi Fyfe, Chef/Partner Devon Quinn, and Chef de Cuisine Miles Schaefer deliver stellar cuisine and a rustic ambiance singing to Mediterranean and New American style.
Revitalizing the neighborhood’s dining scene with a 95-seat restaurant drawing inspiration from Portugal, Spain, Lebanon, and more, Chefs Quinn and Schaefer curate a fresh, farm-forward menu synonymous with clean cooking. A biologist by nature with a proclivity for hyper-local ingredients, Chef Quinn applies the bounty of his onsite 1800-square foot greenhouse throughout the menu, treating guests to fresh flavors year-round. Executing cuisine laden with technical quality and distinction, dinner highlights include Umami Doughnuts, Roasted Baby Beets, Braised Duck Lasagna, and Portuguese Spiced Chicken.
Rounding out Eden’s team are Pastry Chef Stefano Tulipano, General Manager and Sommelier Arif Rahman, and Mixologist Alex Rydzewski, each procuring bites and sips symbiotic with Eden’s menu.
Mirroring the food and beverage programs, Eden’s design embraces craftsmanship and local resources brimming with rustic touches and authentic finishes.
