Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar (Boston’s), a casual-plus dining concept that combines a family-friendly restaurant and separate sports bar under one roof,  introduces a quirky, new creation: The Pizzaburger. Offspring of Pizza and Burger, the Pizzaburger will be born at Boston’s on August 26th. This new item launch is part of a nationwide campaign Boston’s is rolling out to introduce this ‘bundle of joy’ to consumers.

The Pizzaburger incorporates two of America’s favorite foods into one heavenly creation. With two ordering options, Five-Cheese and Pepperoni & Bacon, the Pizzaburger at Boston’s delivers on big flavor. The indulgent conception starts with handmade pizza dough which is then layered with Boston’s signature pizza sauce, freshly grated cheeses and for meat-lovers, pepperoni and bacon. A half-pound Angus burger is then smothered in more signature sauce, wrapped in the pizza dough and baked to a bubbly perfection, completing the delicious concoction.

“Some things just belong together, and the Pizzaburger, first introduced by our sister company Boston Pizza in Canada, is our take on the perfect food combination,”   says Mike Best, COO of Boston’s. “Our customers crave diverse, robust flavors and the Pizzaburger offers just that. It is sure to be a crowd pleaser.”

The Pizzaburger campaign has many fun, lighthearted elements that make it something special for the Boston’s brand. The company plans to launch a social media component of the campaign that will include a contest and prize for consumers while playing off the trendy “hype” of online dating. Boston’s will also be promoting the campaign through digital videos and in-store signage highlighting their ‘new addition’—The Pizzaburger.

Boston’s operations are based in Dallas and the company currently has 39 locations operating in 23 states and 4 locations in Mexico.
