Alain Roby's All Chocolate Kitchen Announces PRIMO


Acclaimed pastry guru Chef Alain Roby celebrates the popularity of his All Chocolate Kitchen, 33 South Third Street in Geneva, Illinois, with the announcement of his third expansion in three years—PRIMO. Guests at PRIMO, opening February 24, will enjoy small plates, artisanal cheeses and charcuterie, fine wines, and, of course, over the top desserts. 

All of this will be offered in the company of Chef Roby’s newest larger-than-life creations, a 22-foot-tall chocolate rig continuously pumping chocolate and a large-scale lighted sugar art masterpiece.

Menu items at PRIMO will include a selection of exclusive domestic, French, and Italian artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, Crab Avocado Sliders, Short Ribs in a Red Wine Sauce, Seared Lamb Shank with portobello mushrooms, and Green Spiced Lentils, Crostini au Fromage, and Grandmother Louise’s Eggplant Confit. All of Chef Alain Roby’s truffles and delectable desserts will be available to perfectly complement the selection of wines brought in from family-run vineyards from around the world.

A.C.K.’s unique decorations ornamenting the interior is a tribute to Chef Roby’s award-winning chocolate creations. The walls of A.C.K. are adorned with photos of Chef Roby’s award-winning events. A.C.K. guests have complimentary access to Chef Roby’s famous chocolate creations, including the 23-foot tall, 1,200-pound enchanted chocolate tree; a 700-pound white chocolate sculpture of Neil Armstrong in an astronaut suit created for the Adler Planetarium that gained fame on the Food Network and The Learning Channel; a life size, 650-pound white chocolate Blackhawks player presented to Chicago native/former NHL player Eddie Olczyk at the Blackhawks’ celebration of the 2010 Stanley Cup; a 7 -foot tall chocolate Blues Player; and a 948-pound white chocolate “Eros” god of love sculpture recently featured on the Food Network.

Chef Roby studied and learned his culinary art in Paris from the world famous Pastry Chef Lenotre. He holds three Guinness World Records: “World's Tallest Cooked Sugar Building,” “World's Tallest Chocolate Sculpture,” and “World’s Longest Candy Cane.”
