Four Summer Dishes and Beer Pairings at Oggi’s Sports | Brewhouse | Pizza

Oggi’s Sports | Brewhouse | Pizza has unveiled four new, limited-time dishes featuring the vibrant flavors of summer and creative twists on Oggi’s signature brewpub fare. 

Available from now until September, the hearty crowd-pleasers show off bold tastes and seasonal ingredients. They are perfect to pair with one of Oggi’s award-winning, refreshing craft beers and sip on a hot day or while watching a ball game with friends and family. 

“Summer has officially arrived here at Oggi’s,” says Estella Ferrera, vice president of Oggi’s Sports | Brewhouse | Pizza. “We are cooking with some of the best ingredients of the season kicked up with spices and crunchy textures. Guests will enjoy zesty tastes in every bite.” 

Oggi’s new seasonal offerings include appetizers, salads, and entrees:

Chili and Corn Arancini—The fried risotto croquettes are stuffed with fire-roasted Anaheim chili and corn, offering a Southwestern twist on the traditional Sicilian street food. They are topped with tri-pepper aioli and thinly sliced green onions. Pairs well with the Paradise Pale Ale.

Watermelon and Arugula Salad—Crisp arugula is tossed with watermelon, pickled onions, shaved fennel, citrus-basil vinaigrette, and goat cheese. Pairs well with the California Gold Blonde Ale. 

Fried Portabella Mushroom Sandwich—Beer-battered Portabella mushroom slices are served with mixed greens, pickled red onion, sliced tomato, shallot aioli, and Parmesan cheese on a hoagie. Served with Oggi’s signature fries, this sandwich is sure to excite vegetarians and meat-lovers alike. Pairs well with California Gold Blonde Ale.

Chili Lime Shrimp Kabob—The marinated and seared shrimp kabobs are topped with an avocado, chili and lime sauce and served with sides of Arancini and a fresh, garden salad. Pairs well with Torrey Pines IPA.
