Marc Chastain, Rib Crib BBQ & Grill
Rib Crib BBQ & Grill has announced that it has named Marc Chastain as president. In his role, Chastain will lead day-to-day operations and is responsible for continuing Rib Crib’s growth and dictating long-term strategies.
“Since joining the company almost 15 years ago, Marc has distinguished himself as an effective leader and capable business strategist time and again,” said Bret Chandler, chief executive officer and owner of Rib Crib. “It’s a great honor to name him as our president. We look forward to seeing Rib Crib continue to grow under his leadership and guidance.”
Prior to being named president, Chastain initially served Rib Crib as a controller and later as chief financial officer. He earned an accounting degree from the University of Oklahoma and later became a certified public accountant. Before joining Rib Crib, Chastain worked in public accounting, real estate and the sporting goods manufacturing industry.
Chandler will remain chief executive officer and owner.
Wes Jablonski, Wingstop Restaurants
Wingstop Restaurants has announced that Wes Jablonski has been named to the newly created position of chief franchise relations officer.
Jablonski, who has been a member of the Wingstop management team for nine years, had served as chief development officer since 2009 and chief financial officer from 2003 to 2009.
As the chief franchise relations officer, he will oversee the franchisee assistance program and serve as Wingstop’s liaison with brand partners in areas such as renewals, monitoring and analysis of financial performance. In addition, Jablonski will also manage Wingstop’s compliance and legal endeavors.
“The new position was a way to prepare for the needs of our rapidly expanding network of restaurants as we head into a new phase of growth,” said Wingstop president and CEO James Flynn. “Wes was the obvious choice to lead this effort.”
Wingstop is scheduled to open its 500th location before the end of the year.
“When we began considering how we would fill this position, it was obvious that we already had the right person on our management team,” said Flynn.
“Wes has nearly a decade of experience with Wingstop, he knows all our brand partners and has been instrumental in bringing many of them into the system.”
