Florida-based Woody’s Bar-B-Q has made the decision to team up with S&D Coffee & Tea to expand their current relationship. Having had great success with its Sweet and Unsweet Tea in all Woody’s Bar-B-Q restaurants since virtually the launch of the nearly 40-year-old chain, S&D will work with participating Woody’s Bar-B-Q locations to soon debut two new flavored teas just in time for Summer 2019: Peach Tea and Tropical Mango Tea. In addition, the classic Southern barbecue chain will begin providing gallon jugs – available in all four flavors and sporting newly branded labels from S&D – on its To Go and Catering menus.

“With a desire to attract a growing number of millennials to become the new generation of Woody’s Bar-B-Q fans, we felt this was an important move,” says Yolanda Mills-Mawman, president and COO for Woody’s Bar-B-Q. “More and more millennial-favored food and beverage outlets are placing an emphasis on the beverage sector – raising expectations for other food chains like our own. Therefore, all locations in the Woody’s Bar-B-Q system will soon be equipped with newly branded tea brewing systems that will make a great visual addition to our restaurants. More importantly, the Peach and Mango products are both out of this world. They will prove an excellent fit for our desire to continually improve our diner’s experience. We also believe the introduction of gallon jugs for our teas will serve as a major boost for our To Go and Catering business – making us even more of a one-stop shop for picnics, office meetings, parties, sporting events and quick dinner pick-ups on the way home from work.”

The new Peach and Tropical Mango Teas have already begun appearing in select participating Woody’s Bar-B-Q locations. Some locations may opt to only feature one of the two new flavors.
