Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar, the neighborhood restaurant known for its farm-to-kitchen menu, has promoted Robb Lindsey to Managing Partner of the Oklahoma City location.

Robb, a native of Kansas City, moved to Oklahoma to attend the University of Oklahoma where he graduated in 2013. While contemplating entering law school, Robb was hired as a Bar Back at Vast, a fine dining restaurant at Devon Tower. In this position, Robb realized his passion for the art of making cocktails and began his career in the food and beverage industry. During his time at Vast, he was promoted to Bartender and subsequently Head Bartender. After 2 years at Vast, Robb joined WSKY Lounge, a craft cocktail and cigar bar where he created Oklahoma City’s first cocktail apprenticeship program which boasts many of the city’s top bar talent and management to this day.

In 2016, Robb joined Whiskey Cake as Bar Manager where he excelled in whiskey stewardship, technological adaptation, and genuine hospitality. Robb’s passion and drive behind the brand led him to his new role of Managing Partner of Whiskey Cake Oklahoma City where he serves as the glue between the neighborhood, local farmers, the Whiskey Cake guests and team. He wants every guest to feel the genuine passion Whiskey Cake brings to farm-to-table and garden-to-glass dining.

When not working in the restaurant industry, Robb still has food on the brain and enjoys dining out. He is also an avid podcast listener.
