Voodoo Brewing Co., the high-energy, less-than-traditional brewpub franchise, has more growth on the horizon with its upcoming opening in Delafield, Wisconsin. The new brewpub, located at 705 N Genesee St., is the first in the state and a key milestone in the brand’s nationwide expansion. It is projected to open in the Spring of 2025, bringing the franchise’s one-of-a-kind communal experience to the beer capital of the U.S.
“This is just the next step in our growth plans,” said Matteo Rachocki, Chairman of the Board of Voodoo Brewing Co. “We are pumped to be growing in Wisconsin, and we know Bryan Ronning will do a great job representing the brand and creating that community-first brewpub feel we all know and love.”
Ronning, an experienced culinary professional and passionate beer enthusiast, will be leading the brand’s expansion in Delafield. With decades of experience in the hospitality industry — from making pizzas at age 14 to serving as an executive chef at a large catering company — he brings a wealth of expertise and a deep love for craft beer to his new venture.
“Coming into Wisconsin, we are the beer capital of the U.S.,” said Ronning. “We have tons of different microbrews, and even the national brands — they’re all brewing here. It’s an untapped market in the area that’s looking for a craft beer destination. There’s really nothing else like it around where we’re going. The sense of community at Voodoo is something we really loved. It’s not just about beer; it’s about creating a communal experience. We have bigger tables and more community-style seating. You’re not going to be greeted by a hostess and directed to a table. Instead, you’ll find an open seat and go for it.”
The Delafield brewpub will be the first of its kind in Wisconsin and is expected to become a staple in the community. Like all Voodoo Brewing Co. locations, the new brewpub will feature a customized logo, locally inspired menu items tailored to Wisconsin’s tastes, consistent community events and Voodoo Brewing Co.’s iconic “liquid gold” craft beer, along with craft cocktails and hard seltzers.
As it continues to carve out its place in the $115 billion U.S. beer market, Voodoo Brewing Co. remains the fastest-growing brewpub franchise in the world. The brand’s flexibility allows
franchisees to customize their brewpub experience while benefiting from the support of an experienced team. With just 50 units left to award, Voodoo Brewing Co. continues to field inquiries from passionate entrepreneurs looking to break into the craft beer industry.
“We’re excited to continue growing with passionate local owners who are ready to create a local brewpub that can become a go-to place for community events and connection,” said Rachocki. “For entrepreneurs looking to break into the industry, Voodoo Brewing Co. offers an ideal balance of flexibility and support.”
Looking ahead, Voodoo Brewing Co. is focused on partnering with the right people who align with its mission of creating community-first brewpubs.
