Veneto Hospitality (Veneto), an Austin-based hospitality management company featuring some of the city’s favorite family-friendly restaurants like Juliet Italian Kitchen, announced today its new restaurant concept Benvolio’s, and the formal debut of the Veneto brand.
Founded in 2021 with a team of seasoned hospitality professionals, Veneto co-owners Dan and Donna Wilkins’ have made it their mission to offer the Austin community quality Italian cuisine and a taste of home whether dining in or ordering to-go. Veneto is led by Chief Operations Officer Bryan Cromwell and Director of Culinary Operations, Wade Guice who together manage two Juliet Italian Kitchen locations in Austin’s beloved Zilker Park and Arboretum neighborhoods as well as the new addition of Benvolio’s.
“We are thrilled to introduce Veneto Hospitality with the launch of Benvolio’s,” says co-owner Donna Wilkins. “As a locally owned brand, operating our expanding restaurant portfolio under Veneto will allow us to serve the Austin community in new ways and grow with it. Utilizing innovative dining concepts, like we are doing with Benvolio’s, provides the added ability to reach more Austinites than ever before.”
An online-only restaurant, Benvolio’s is available on food delivery apps including UberEats, GrubHub, and DoorDash and operates out of a north-Austin ghost kitchen. With salads, sandwiches and pizza at its core, Benvolio’s offers a diverse range of flavors that showcase a unique take on classic Italian dishes. Influences range from Italy and Greece to back home in Texas, including menu items like the Greek sub served with chicken, pepperoncini and fresh veggies or the Texas BBQ pulled pork sandwich. With something for everyone, Benvolio’s also has build-your-own menu options for lunch and dinner. Perfect!
“We wanted the menu at Benvolio’s to represent classic Italian with a twist,” says chef and Director of Culinary Operations, Wade Guice. “Using traditional dishes as a foundation, the inspiration behind many of the dishes is rooted in the flavors our community loves combined in unexpected ways.”
