Urban Egg announced its first location in Texas opening in summer 2025 in Fort Worth. Located in North City at 2828 N. Tarrant Pkwy, Urban Egg Fort Worth will be the concept’s 11th location.
“We see Fort Worth as the perfect site for our first restaurant in Texas,” said Mark Augarten, CEO of Urban Egg. ”The growth of the surrounding communities and daytime eatery guest is undeniable in Fort Worth. We see Urban Egg as the best choice for starting your day off right or celebrating with weekend brunch. We are looking forward to establishing strong relationships with the local community as well as with our local supplier partners in both Fort Worth and Dallas. Urban Egg has always sourced locally for items such as coffee, breads, distilleries and artisan foods in all markets as part of our commitment to community and quality in every aspect of our menu.”
Urban Egg locations currently span Colorado’s Front Range with 9 locations across Fort Collins, Johnstown, Denver and Colorado Springs and the Kansas City area with 1 location in Overland Park and more coming in 2025.
“We feel the key to our success with Urban Egg has been the same formula with all our restaurants since we started — locally sourced ingredients, a fresh innovative twist to classics in a warm inviting atmosphere with genuinely sincere service,” said Urban Egg Founder Randy Price. “It has been fun watching the Urban Egg concept evolve over the last 12 years.”
Price said he is proud of his culinary team’s direction and progression of the menu since Urban Egg’s inception. The innovative menu choices that incorporate a made from scratch mentality have helped solidify Urban Egg as a leader in the daytime segment.
“Guests love our awarding-winning buttermilk biscuits with sage sausage gravy, creative crafted omelets, gourmet fancy pancakes that can be ordered gluten free, our natural juice blends or mimosas or one of our many eggs benedict selections like our Chicken & Waffle Benedict,” said Price. “Our guests know they can come into any of our locations and expect the same quality fresh flavors and outstanding service in an upbeat, elevated atmosphere. We love what we do, and we love helping you savor your day with outstanding and innovative breakfast, brunch and lunch offerings.”
Urban Egg Fort Worth aims to be an employer of choice and will provide meaningful job opportunities with outstanding benefits and growth potential for about 40+ team members.
“We could not be more excited to plant our flag and open our first Urban Egg in this community and bring our incredible team culture to the heart of Texas,” Augarten said. Urban Egg has earned top honors as Best Pancakes by Reader’s Digest, one of the 12 Best Restaurants in Colorado Springs by US News & World Report, one of the 10 Best Brunches in Denver by Westword and Best Brunch and Best New Restaurant by Kansas City Magazine.
