Santa Ynez Valley wine country Italian eatery and bar, S.Y. Kitchen, has launched two separate stay-at-home dinner menu options – “Dinner at Home” via delivery, or “Pick-Up” at the restaurant – the latter of which comes complete with the option of add-on beer or wine by the bottle, or the restaurant and bar’s popular cocktails, packaged to go.

S.Y. Kitchen’s Dinner at Home delivery menu option provides free delivery via pre-order*, of a two-course meal in individual full portions meant to re-heat at home. Diners who pre-order by 12:00 Noon for same-day delivery, will receive their orders between approximately 2:30 PM-3:30 PM. Each day of the week features a different, dedicated menu option, such as Tuesday’s grilled vegetables and cioppino (seafood soup with mussels, clams, shrimp, calamari, salmon); Wednesday’s fresh pea salad and braised lamb shank; or Sunday’s minestrone soup, arugola salad and classic lasagna. Daily pricing ranges from $40.00 to $50.00 per person (plus tax), with a minimum daily order of two meal packages.

The restaurant and bar’s Pick-Up menu is a pared-down version of S.Y. Kitchen’s full dinner menu, including some of guests’ beloved appetizers, soups, salads, house-made pasta dishes, mains, wood-fired pizzas, and veggie sides. Warm octopus salad (Taggiasca olives, potatoes, cherry tomatoes, haricot verts), yellow beets (shaved beetroot, pickled plum, hazelnuts, goat cheese, fresh lemon, thyme), wild mushroom pappardelle, T-bone truffle sliders (truffle cheese, caramelized shallots, Parmigiano crisp, potatoes), a Diavola pizza (spicy salame, cremini mushrooms, tomato, mozzarella, parmigiana), and more, reside on the menu available for pick-up from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. New to the restaurant’s “pick up” offering, international and local wines by the bottle, world and local craft beers by the bottle, and S.Y. Kitchen’s popular cocktails – expertly hand-crafted, served with separate ice and garnish – like their Cilantro Margarita (Espolon Blanco Tequila, Ancho Reyes, cilantro, fresh lime, agave, black lava salt), Barrel-Aged-Negroni (Brooker’s Gin, Campari, Carpano Sweet Vermouth), or an Old Fashioned (bacon-washed-Elijah Craig Bourbon Whiskey, Tawny Port, cherry syrup, and aromatic bitters).

The Santa Ynez Valley restaurant also announced the opening of an employee relief fund to support S.Y. Kitchen team members affected by the current public health emergency. Now through April 7, 2020, 100% of the restaurant group’s gift card sales proceeds will go toward the employee relief fund benefitting team members at S.Y. Kitchen. Gift cards may be purchased through the restaurant’s website: sykitchen.com.
