Charlotte Marriott City Center announced the reopening of Stoke on January 14. The Uptown restaurant that first opened in 2016 as a beta restaurant concept for Marriott Global will serve dinner Thursday through Saturday.

“After a difficult ten months for our industry and our neighbors in Uptown, it is refreshing to begin to see the revival of this district. We are thrilled to be a part of that with the reopening of Stoke, our local-focused, chef-driven dining concept,” says Scott Siebert, general manager of Charlotte Marriott City Center. “Our culinary team is glad to be back in the kitchen preparing some of Charlotte’s most sought-after dishes for hotel guests and locals.”

Executive Chef Andres Prussing and his team will serve a menu of Stoke favorites alongside seasonal selections, such as the Sticky Pork Shank, Stoke Hot Chicken Sandwich, Pretzel Brioche with Whipped Butters, Smoked Gouda & Gruyere Mac & Cheese, and The One-Pound Doughnut with Diplomat Cream and Heath Bar Crumbles. The bar at Stoke returns with its crafted cocktails, including the well-known Stoke Fashioned and Trade Street Teaserita, along with a curated selection of beer and wine. The full menu can be viewed online.

Stoke will be open Thursday through Saturday, 5 to 10 p.m. Reservations can be made on OpenTable or by calling 704-353-6005. Complimentary self parking is available in the Charlotte Marriott City Center garage.
