The grand opening of popular pickleball eatertainment venue Smash Park’s newest location in the Twin Cities’ suburb of Roseville will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 8.

Smash Park is located at 1721 County Rd C West in Roseville.

Twin Cities area guests are invited to “find their happy place” in the nearly 50,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. Smash Park will house six premium pickleball courts, axe-throwing, duckpin bowling, an arcade, darts, cornhole, a private karaoke “Sing Suite,” a premier outdoor patio, rooftop bar, more than 100 televisions for sports viewing and watch parties, and yard games. The full-service dining features a scratch-driven menu – completely revamped for the Twin Cities – and craft drinks.

Smash Park CEO Monty Lockyear said the company has been eager to enter the Twin Cities market after their analysis showed high local interest in pickleball – Smash Park’s flagship activity – and a shortage of quality courts. “Interest in pickleball just keeps growing – it’s a social sport that is accessible to people of all abilities,” he said. “The Twin Cities is a perfect home for Smash Park, and we’re thrilled the time has come to introduce residents to our full range of fun and unique offerings.” Lockyear added that the variety of games, leagues, and events attracts all ages and interests.

Smash Park will host weekly leagues for pickleball, cornhole, darts, duckpin bowling and axe-throwing. The recreation area will be equipped for night time entertainment such as glow pickleball and glow dodgeball. Smash Park also hosts weekly events such as trivia, themed tournaments, and its popular Brunch Bingo, and its private event space can accommodate up to 1,000 guests. A private meeting room is fully-equipped with A/V capabilities for company meetings and team building events.

Smash Park is open Mon. – Thurs. 8 a.m. to 12 a.m., Fri.-Sat. 8 a.m. – 1 a.m., and Sun. 8 a.m. – 11 p.m.

In June 2023, Smash Park announced it had received a significant minority growth investment from DCA Partners, a leading growth-oriented private equity firm. The investment is enabling Smash Park to accelerate its venue expansion strategy across the U.S., with the next opening planned for the Omaha metro in the spring of 2024.
