Shoney’s On The Go announces its grand opening celebration on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, in Houston.
Shoney’s On The Go is the iconic American brand’s new restaurant concept focusing on fresh, quality ingredients and great-tasting food, provided at a great value.
Shoney’s On The Go has been designed for busy Americans on the go who love Shoney’s signature breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus. Favorites include the All-American Burger; grilled and crispy chicken sandwiches; in-house, hand-breaded chicken tenders baskets; Slim Jim Sandwich; Pile O’ Shrimp; made-from-scratch breakfast biscuit sandwiches with freshly cracked eggs; and fruit smoothies, real ice cream, hand-dipped milkshakes, strawberry pie, and the original hot fudge cake.
The kickoff celebration on August 15 will offer free samples, an appearance from Shoney Bear, and a meet-and-greet with Shoney’s brand champion and CEO David Davoudpour, executive chef Will Eudy, as well as other members of Shoney’s management team.
