PaoPao Ramen Factory & Boba has chosen The Shoppes at Webb Gin in Snellville, GA as the site of the sit-down Asian restaurant’s third location in the greater Atlanta metropolitan region, with an opening scheduled for this fall. The woman-owned restaurant signed a lease with Continental Realty Corporation (CRC) for 2,881 square feet of space within the 330,000 square foot lifestyle center located at 1350 Scenic Highway South.

PaoPao Ramen Factory & Boba specializes in Asian fusion ramen including Japanese, Chinese, Korean ramen noodles and some authentic Asian style rice dishes and small plates. PaoPao Ramen is famous for fresh and flavorful dishes, with all sauces and toppings cooked to order. The restaurant will offer a variety of entree choices including pork belly, braised beef, chicken, ribs and seafood. Vegan-friendly and gluten-free food options, as well as a variety of Japanese sake, Korean soju, Boba drinks and specialty ice-cream are also offered. PaoPao Ramen operates locations in Mill Creek Village in Buford and Toco Hills Shopping Center in Atlanta.

“Our concept is the first and currently the only Asian fusion ramen restaurant in Georgia, making us distinct from others that are mostly traditional Japanese ramen restaurants,” explained owner Amy Cao. “Part of what makes us unique is our flavors and sauces that present the true and authentic flavors of Asian countries. All of our sauce and meat toppings are made 100 percent from scratch in house, with the best ingredients to ensure freshness, which is the key.”

The restaurant will employ approximately 15 people.

“When searching for the perfect third location, our research suggested The Shoppes at Webb Gin as the primary go-to location for Snellville residents, and we believe the anchor tenants will consistently attract traffic,” Cao added. “With no other restaurants of this kind in the area, I believe PaoPao Ramen will add variety to the center and bring in new customers. We are very family- and kid-friendly and strive to serve delicious and affordably-priced food that can be enjoyed by the entire community. Currently we have customers that drive almost one hour from Snellville to visit our current locations.”

Constructed in 2006, The Shoppes at Webb Gin is situated on approximately 48 acres on Scenic Highway North, the major freeway which connects Snellville to Lawrenceville, with more than 40,000 vehicles passing the site daily. The regional center is home to more than 60 tenants, including national retailers. Several sit-down and fast-casual restaurants are located at The Shoppes at Webb Gin, including Bonefish Grill, Chili’s Grill & Bar, Longhorn Steakhouse, Red Robin, Wild Wing Café and Ted’s Montana Grill.

Located at the intersection of Scenic Highway N and Webb Gin House Road SW, The Shoppes at Webb Gin is in the 92nd percentile for foot traffic among all shopping centers in the country, with over 70 minutes of average dwell time and the second most-visited Sprouts Farmers Market in Georgia, according to Placer.ai, a market research company that reports on consumer behavior by analyzing visitations in retail stores and shopping centers.
