Outback Steakhouse is debuting its newest restaurant in the Nashville, Tennessee, area, opening its doors at 11 a.m. on June 6. To show its support of the local community, a portion of the restaurant's opening day sales will benefit Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Middle Tennessee, which works to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat type 1 diabetes and its complications. The restaurant will be the newest addition to Overlook at Nashville West and the first in the area to feature an updated "Modern Australia" design both inside and out.
To mark the official grand opening, the restaurant is holding a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce at 10:30 a.m.
"We're thrilled to be the newest neighbor here in Nashville," says Josh Hughes, local proprietor, Outback Steakhouse. "We're looking forward to welcoming our friends and neighbors on grand opening day with delicious food and to give back to a great organization."
The restaurant will feature a "Modern Australia" design with décor that mirrors the indigenous flora and fauna, adventure, geography and leisure of modern day Australia. Guests will also enjoy a spacious, energetic bar area that includes a community table—a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy specialty beer, wine and hand-crafted cocktails. The bar will also feature customized seating and furnishings and is connected directly to the outdoor dining patio.
