On Wednesday, March 6, the Ohio Restaurant & Hospitality Alliance welcomed three new industry leaders to its Board of Directors. Lisa Gutierrez, John Brooks and Kathleen White are recognized experts representing various segments of Ohio’s restaurant and hospitality community.

Lisa Gutierrez is the founder and CEO of Dos Hermanos Taco Truck, a business she began with her husband in 2012. Since that time, Gutierrez has expanded Dos Hermanos from a single taco truck to four brick-and-mortar locations and has secured vendor contracts with Lower.com Field and the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Gutierrez is also the founder of Food Truck Millionaire and Lisa G. Speaks.

John Brooks is the managing partner of BTTS Holdings Inc. Since 2015, Brooks has grown the business into the largest exclusive event venue operator in central Ohio with five venues, in-house catering and floral design, with a strong focus on giving back to the community. Brooks is also a board member of the New Albany Chamber of Commerce.

Kathleen White is a dedicated professional with more than 14 years of diverse experience for Gordon Food Service, the largest family-operated broad-line food distribution company in North America. Before her current role as customer marketing manager, White’s previous roles include marketing services manager; Columbus sales manager; business solutions specialist; and fruit, vegetable and dairy category leader.

Gutierrez, Brooks and White are the latest additions to join the Ohio Restaurant & Hospitality Alliance Board of Directors. In 2023, Jackie O’s Pub & Brewery Owner Andrew “Art” Oestrike and N. Wasserstrom Chief Operating Officer Treva Weaver were the first new directors named during Gary Callicoat’s tenure as Chair of the Board of Directors. Callicoat is a long-time industry professional who began his career as a restaurant dishwasher at age 15 and quickly ascended to operational roles within multiple restaurant groups. He is the founder of Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern and has grown the brand from a single restaurant in Dublin, Ohio, to 22 locations in five states. Callicoat was named president of the Ohio Restaurant & Hospitality Alliance Board of Directors in June 2022.

“We are thrilled to add such outstanding people to the board that represents this great industry in Ohio,” says John Barker, president & CEO of the Ohio Restaurant & Hospitality Alliance. “We are broadening our scope within the hospitality industry, which is evidenced by adding leaders in the food truck, catering and craft brewery segments, plus representatives of our important vendor/supplier group. They are all passionate about the foodservice and hospitality business and bring additional expertise to our board as we promote and protect this wonderful industry.”
