October is National Seafood Month and in celebration, Ocean Prime nationwide has created special sushi rolls and entrees, along with a perfect pairing (prices vary by location), these include:

Sushi: Lobster Roll with kiwi, pickled Serrano chilis, masago, spicy mango sauce; suggested pairing is Conundrum 2020 White Blend by Caymus Vineyards

Wine tasting notes: crisp and vibrant white blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Bustling citrus, stone fruit flavor with rich orange blossom & Elderflower florals to compliment sweet lobster. Perfect with a variety of lighter seafood fare and sushi.

Entrée: Halibut with colossal Maryland blue crab, gnocchi, Champagne cream; suggested pairing is Goldeneye 2019 Pinot Noir by Duckhorn

Wine tasting notes:rich and decadent Pinot Noir with ripe red raspberry, bing cherry, blackberry pie, nutmeg, cardamom, and savory spice. Decadence with sophistication. Matches well with rich fish dishes and creamy sauces.

These specials are in addition to the many delicious seafood dishes on Ocean Prime’s regular menu including the Prime Roll, a creative take with tempura shrimp, cream cheese, scallion, beef carpaccio ($28); the popular Smoking Shellfish Tower (Market price); the Sea Scallops with parmesan risotto, English peas, citrus vinaigrette ($57) and Blackened Snapper with corn spoon bread and jalapeño corn tartar ($59).
