MarketMan, the cloud-based inventory management and purchasing solution that streamlines the relationship between restaurant operators and suppliers, has entered into a key partnership with StarChefs to showcase its advanced platform at the 12th Annual StarChefs International Chefs Congress. The partnership, which will be featured at the event from October 22 through the 24 will place MarketMan in front of the world’s most reputable chefs and restaurant operators, highlighting its ability to streamline procurement, delivery, accounting and profitability across the food and beverage industry.

Now in its 12th year, the three-day StarChefs conference will feature more than 150 presenters in front of an expected audience of more than 1,500 people. The floors will be filled with a mix of hands-on business demonstrations, savory and pastry workshops, scalability from a modern concept and an entire floor dedicated to sponsors and partners to showcase products and provide their own demonstrations.

MarketMan will be demonstrating its new Invoice Scanning App at the event through an interactive competition where patrons will be able to snap photos of different products and compile mock invoices, illustrating both ease of use and speed of the newest software advancement. The booth will also feature shelving of mock inventory where attendees can use the MarketMan platform to take inventory of what’s on the shelves and place an order for new items.

“We targeted this partnership with StarChefs because we knew this was an unparalleled opportunity to speak directly to some of the most influential chefs and restaurant operators in the world about the impact MarketMan can make with their operations,” says MarketMan co-founder and CEO Noam Wolf. “It only takes a few minutes to really show just how quickly MarketMan works to streamline ordering, inventory and accounts payable operations. We want to provide a truly simple way to prove how impactful MarketMan can be to a restaurant’s bottom line.”

With more than 2,000 customers worldwide and a global headquarters in New York City, MarketMan is building momentum through its innovative inventory management product. By seamlessly connecting the silos between operator and vendor, MarketMan allows restaurant operators to reduce both food costs and inventory management time, all through an easy-to-use cloud-based platform. Since its creation four years ago, MarketMan has enabled its restaurant clients to realize an average of 2-5 percent reduction in food costs within the first year. Time saved on orders is even more impressive, with MarketMan clients reporting an average boost in order efficiency by up to 50 percent, on average, thanks to MarketMan’s integrated ordering platform, which allows day to day operations to migrate seamlessly between multiple vendors and suppliers with no disruption.

MarketMan is now focused on building on that momentum and expanding its growing client base by bringing its proprietary cloud-based technology to new customers across North America.

“We are always looking for innovative partners that are able to showcase something that our attendees haven’t seen before,” says StarChefs CEO and Editor in Chief, Antoinette Bruno. “MarketMan is one of our only technology software sponsors at the International Chefs Congress, and we know they will help to shine an even brighter light on the way technology is revolutionizing the entire restaurant industry.”
