Mallow Box will open its second location on August 10 in Legacy Hall, located at 7800 Windrose Ave. in Plano. The gourmet marshmallow company will continue to elevate the popular dessert by offering high quality, great-tasting, and creative marshmallow products to inspire moments of nostalgia and childhood memories.
This is the second outpost for founder Martha Ware’s marshmallow concept, with the first location nestled within The Shops at Willow Bend. It was a Pinterest search that prompted Ware to embark on the journey that would later lead her to create Mallow Box. After browsing for a chocolate tipped marshmallow recipe she felt inspired to go beyond the expected with the beloved dessert.
“It’s been amazing to see the moments of happiness and deliciousness Mallow Box has brought to North Texas since founding the company in 2018,” says Ware. “I was drawn to the unparalleled energy and inviting community Legacy Hall offers and knew the food hall would provide the ideal site for my second location. I can’t wait to continue to push the boundaries of what can be done with marshmallows and continue to bring happiness to those we serve.”
All Mallow Box marshmallows are hand-made from scratch without preservatives. The menu features s’mores, hot and cold drinks, shakes, bowls, toasts and skewers.Marshmallows come in a variety of unique flavors such as the plain, peppermint, cinnamon, salted caramel, lemon, raspberry, coffee, chocolate and cream cookie, and strawberry and cream cookie.
Signature menu items include the s’mores bowls such as Chocolate Heaven, Peanut Wonder and Berry Dream; shakes such as S’Mores, Lovin’ My Choc, and Merry Berry; and drinks including Hot Chocolate Dream, Cinn-A-Mel, and Donut You Want Coffee?
In addition to signature items, guests are invited to build their own s’more or skewer and choose from marshmallow flavors, sauces, toppings and more.
To shake it up, seasonal menu items will rotate throughout the menu with items such as Piña Colada Milkshake – vanilla ice cream, piña colada, ‘flosting’, toasted plain mallow, piña colada mallow, pretzel stick, pineapple, coconut flakes, pineapple and coconut sauces, sprinkles; and Banana Mallow Split – one scoop of vanilla ice cream, two small scoops of marshmallow ‘flosting’, banana, chocolate sauce, chocolate chips, cherry and sprinkles.
