Levi Goode, popular Houston chef, restaurateur and head of Goode Company Restaurants, announced two new key hires for his first-ever stand-alone concepts: Credence and Sidebar. Levi has tapped Michelin-experienced Joseph Geiskopf to serve as the executive chef at Credence and Sidebar, as well as David McCrea, who will take on the role of general manager. Credence and Sidebar are located next door to each other at 9757 Katy Freeway, Suite 170, Houston, TX 77024 in The McKinley at Memorial City. Both are expected to open Summer 2024.

Levi Goode has selected Joseph Geiskopf to oversee the kitchen at Credence and Sidebar. Joseph is a classically trained chef with experience cooking in restaurants across the world. Most recently, he served as the culinary director at CIEL in Houston, TX. Before that, he was the executive chef at the 2 Michelin-starred restaurant Pineapple and Pearls in Washington, D.C. He has also held roles with other Michelin-recognized establishments like Californios, NOMA, Destroyer, and Vespertine. Joseph was formerly trained at Le Cordon Bleu Paris. 

David McCrea, a hospitality industry professional with more than 15 years of experience, will serve as the general manager at Credence and Sidebar. He will oversee the team and the operations at the upscale restaurant. Prior to joining the Credence and Sidebar team, he got his start bussing tables in his native New Orleans, LA. From there he moved up the ladder at other fine dining establishments and made the move to Houston working for Hyatt Regency, Landmark Hospitality, Hillstone, Pappas Bros Steakhouse and Goodnight Hospitality. David has a passion and unwavering commitment to extraordinary service, which he will bring with him to Credence and Sidebar.
