IHOP announced two staffing updates to bolster its Consumer Insights and Communications teams.

Dale Wilson, who most recently served as IHOP’s Executive Director of Consumer Insights, has been promoted to Vice President of Consumer Insights. During her three-year tenure, Wilson has played an instrumental role in leveraging an understanding of consumer needs and behaviors to fuel brand momentum, helping lead multiple successful initiatives. In her new role, she will continue to put the guest front-and-center to inform brand strategy.

Wilson offers extensive restaurant experience, previously driving brand and digital insights for Taco Bell before joining the IHOP team. She has spent the entirety of her career developing a deep understanding of consumer trends and mindset, and has held senior-level positions leading research teams to help businesses achieve brand and sales growth.

Additionally, Candice Jacobson has been announced as IHOP’s new Director of Brand Communications. In the role, Jacobson will oversee all internal and external efforts, including PR and experiential marketing campaigns, as well as executive visibility and franchisee communications. Jacobson joins IHOP from CKE Restaurants, where she spent two years as the Director of Public Relations and Brand Partnerships on behalf of Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s restaurants. Previously, she spent six years managing global communications at Mattel.

“We’re thrilled to watch Dale grow into her new role, and to welcome Candice into the IHOP family,” says Jay Johns, President of IHOP. “Both are exceptionally strong in their respective fields, and will undoubtedly play integral roles as we continue to shape the future of this iconic brand.”
