Three Sazerac brands with strong New Orleans roots were recognized as medal winners at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in London, England earlier this summer.

Peychaud’s Aperitivo, Legendre Original Herbsaint and Legendre Ojen were all awarded Silver Medals in the prestigious competition.

The Sazerac Company released Peychaud’s Aperitivo, a very versatile spirit, in February 2016 with Antoine Amedie Peychaud’s long history of quality and simplicity in mind. Legendre Original Herbsaint and Ojen are classic brands with long histories in the Crescent City, and have been re-launched in recent years for modern cocktail aficionados.

“We feel honored and grateful to accept these medals from the IWSC,” Jana Ritter, Marketing Manager for Bitters & New Orleans Specialty Brands, says. “The outstanding recognition these iconic New Orleans brands have received in this year’s spirit competitions has been very humbling for us.”

The International Wine & Spirit Competition will hold its Annual Awards Banquet at the Guildhall in London on November 15, 2017.
